The Story

Born From a Vision of Independence

This initiative was founded by Raymond Clark, who worked closely with Dr. Jane Goodall for over two decades and witnessed firsthand how empowering young people can transform entire communities. Raymond is part of Jane Goodall's Legacy and resides on the Council for Hope.

Based in the Philippines, this program is being built for children growing up in under-resourced communities — kids who deserve more than just survival. We call them Little Warriors: resilient, determined young people aged 6–16 who, through this program, gain discipline, skills, and a future.

Each Little Warrior's family benefits too. As children learn to grow food and sell produce, their households gain a real source of income — breaking cycles of poverty one harvest at a time.

"This is not charity — it's a system that creates independence."

How It Works

From the Mat to the Market

Three connected pillars that create a cycle of growth, confidence, and independence.

Step 1

Martial Arts & Discipline

Children learn discipline, confidence, and respect through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu — building character from the mat up.

Step 2

Sustainable Farming

They grow vegetables and care for chickens, learning responsibility and the value of nurturing life.

Step 3

Income Generation

They sell produce to support their families — turning hard work into real financial independence.

This vision was inspired by my dear late friend Dr. Jane Goodall, whose legacy of compassion, conservation, and empowering young people continues to guide everything we do.

Our Vision

Scaling Impact Globally

This initiative aims to scale globally, bringing the mat-to-market model to communities around the world — empowering youth to build sustainable futures.

We align with organizations like Dr. Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots program, sharing the belief that young people can be the catalysts for meaningful change in their communities.

Currently operating in the Philippines — with plans to expand to Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
